Jeeves is the ultimate gentleman's gentleman in the best British style. Bertie Wooster is a classic British upper-class twit that could only have been conceived of in Victorian times. He is wealthy, does not work and belongs to a Gentleman's Club known as "The Drones." The members pretty much all went to school together and have funny nicknames. For example, in this story, Bertie's friend Gussie Fink-Nottle (even the names are funny) has gotten himself engaged to Madeline Bassett. Gussie gets himself engaged every chapter or so in the saga of Bertie's life. This time there are plenty of people to mess up this plot. Aunt Dahlia wants her favorite nephew, Bertie, to steal an old cow-creamer for her to use to keep her cook. Bertie has to face trouble with someone named Stiffy and the Rev. a (Stinker) Pinker and a few stumbling blocks to peace. Jeeves makes it all right in the end. By that time the listener will have enjoyed the heck out of another Wodehouse rout with Jeeves.

This one is so well read it is perfectly acceptable that only one person is portraying all of the parts. He does this smoothly Jonathan Cecil is to be commended on his skills. He is a British actor of great renown and he adds to this tale a flow that makes the story a pleasure to listen to.
