The note from Jacques Pepin of PBS fame on the back cover of this cookbook tells us that he feels Sara Moulton is quite a gifted cook. Sara Moulton is a chef and the star of her own show on the Food Network. There are more than 200 of her recipes here. Sara features her original creations that she calls her favorites. Some of the recipes come from friends and relatives.

Sara is a mother, and so she has given us some child-friendly recipes and that includes her daughter's famous Chocolate French Toast.

You can use many of these recipes to serve friends and feel that you are giving them an elegant meal and enjoy praise for your skills. Some of the recipes are for everyday meals, but all of them are tasty and sound eminently possible for any of us to prepare in our own kitchen.
