If you are a devoted fan of the Siamese cats that belong to Jim Qwilleran of Moose County, you already know that he has been collecting "Moose County Legends" throughout most of his stay in this county. He thought he might write a book, or maybe even a novel about crimes that would be take place in a Metropolitan setting. As he began to really collect the folktales from the locals, he began to feel that these stories that had been handed down for generations were well worth publishing as a collection.

We listeners get the benefit of hearing these short stories in audiobook form. The people who told them to Quilleran swore that they were true. Some of the tales talk about the supernatural, and some just sound like delightful tall tales. They're all good audiobooks.
