Everything you ever wanted to learn about, that is related to art, is listed in this book. It is a heavy little book, with 485 pages of information that is listed alphabetically. You can look up any number of techniques and find the information you want. It is written in a clear way accessible for beginners. The amazing thing is that there are so many color pictures of the methods and products that you can use to produce any art you want to.. Notes for specific entries and charts of related information are included.

Trust me, there is a lot of information in this book from these expert publishers. Metzger is a renowned painter himself. It is amazing that one person could give us so much information and then contain it in a reasonably priced bible.
