This is a gift waiting to happen for any Star Wars fan. Filmmaker Lucas made film history with his outer space superhero. He created a legend and a villain that will last for a long time. The Star Wars saga has more in store for us. We are waiting impatiently for "Episode II Revenge of the Sith"!

This wonderful and big book is filled with the life and art of Lucas. There are more than 500 illustrations in the book and most of them are in color. We all know that Abrams publishes the best of the best collector's books available.

This includes all the cinema of George Lucas. It starts us with a peek at Lucas's early life. His student day at U.S.C. and an intimate look at his student films as well as the big ones. Many of these illustrations have never been see before. Lucas has been an innovator and the book talks about his use of digital filmmaking techniques and other visual effects up the latest of the Star Wars films.

I think we could all agree that these are the favored films of more than one generation. The Indiana Jones series and that amazing chronicle of the mid-century youth and their lives called "American Graffiti".

Every Lucas fan - every MOVIE fan, especially this one, - will love owning this amazingly beautiful book.
