Here is a big, attractive collection of simple Indian recipes to make in your own home. They don't taste simple, but you will be surprised how easy they are to prepare. You can learn to make Indian Ice Cream with a recipe called "kulfi." The recipes for lamb are among my favorites. The author educates you in the different basic spice mixes that give the dishes their distinctive Indian flavors and aromas. Every recipe is shown with a color photo of the finished product. Clear instructions follow and sometimes they include small pictures of the techniques you can use.
