Review of "Awesome Grammar (Awesome English)" by Becky Burckmyer

Author Becky Burckmyer gives us a structured set of lessons on English grammar, a subject that seems to get short shrift in today's educational system. Written with a textbook structure, but in a light-hearted tone, "Awesome Grammar" teaches the fundamentals of usage for writers. With a quiz at the end of each chapter to reinforce the lessons, it's an effective and often entertaining guide to our mother tongue. The author truly does present the "why's" in addition to the "how's" in the rules of grammar.
