Edward Lear lived in England where he was born in 1912. He published his first "Book Of Nonsense" in 1846. He drew his own illustrations. Perhaps his most famous poem for children was, "The Owl And The Pussy Cat" but he is also famous for his humor.

Artist Valorie Fisher has brilliantly illustrated a collection of these delightful rhymes by using scrapbook-like paintings that are bright and fun.

The book is stunning and will help to keep alive the art of the author and fun of the poet who has always been beloved in any form.
