Well-known author Judy Blume gives us an engaging story of a young girl's first serious love and all that entails. Michael and Katherine have it bad. They've only known each other for a short time, but to both of them it feels like they've found "the one". They're at it hot and heavy, but haven't taken that big step yet.

Many parents will be reluctant to give this book to their children because it does deal with teen sexuality. Its not overly explicit, but it does contain episodes of sexual activity. However, the subject is presented sincerely and the implications are laid out for the reader as Michael and Katherine wrestle with their feelings.
