Sunshine Plaza & the Eureka! ParadeThe Sunshine Plaza is like the hub in Disneyland - all roads meet there. Its a good place to meet if your group splits up during the day because its centrally located and there are things to do to pass the time until everyone arrives. Inside this real deisel train are a candy shop and a coffee shop, with tables and chairs under the umbrellas in front. One of the best ways to pass the time while enjoying those treats is watching the first daytime parade in Calfiornia Adventure - Eureka! The new parade compares well to other daytime parades in Disney's other theme parks. With over 150 performers, the parade showcases the many different cultures and landmarks found in Californa - both today and in days gone by. The 25-minute parade features 6 major floats, and a unique array of costumed performers dubbed "walking scenery" by the parade's artistic director, Steve Davison and partner, designer Michael Curry. |
