This is the seventh book produced by the sisters who use the composite pseudonym "Peri" as author on their books. This time the plot makes for one of the best mysteries.

Jessie Potter hits the jackpot and it's big. Jessie had just sat down when the previous player vacated the seat. The man asked Kenny, a computer nerd, to watch his seat. Kenny was so filled with the idea of committing suicide that he never said a word to Jessie. Jessie isn't staying around to collect. Instead she runs out of the casino dragging Kenny with her. The swirls around the fact that the man who went to the bathroom was supposed to win that jackpot and he goofed. Whoever set him up believes that the money is his. Now everyone is looking for Jessie. She hires Nevada lawyer Nina Reilly to help her because too many people are looking for her. She is a widow with a small child and her father-in-law is after her, too.

Good stuff this time, folks! One of the best Reilly adventures which plays out to the melody of a broken love affair for Nina.
