Disney has given us another of the spectacular "Making Of" books that only they can produce. Did you get see this famous Broadway musical which won four Tony Awards? If so, then this will be a very special book for you that explains how the whole production was put together.

The book tells how they began to get the idea of adopting Verde's opera for the Broadway Stage. Tim Rice put together the story of the African princess who is a slave in Egypt to the beat of pop music and he is a genius in my book. Then Elton John joins Tim Rice and you have the award winning combination.

With this book the reader follows the story from birth through auditions and rehearsals right up to the opening night at New York's famed Palace Theater in March of the year 2000. With outstanding color photography the whole work comes to life. It should be a gift for someone you like a lot.
