Here is another adventure novel that is filled with illustrations to enjoy. The main character is Hippolyte Webb who is a travel writer and has set out for the Auroras, which is a small group of tiny islands in the middle of the South Atlantic. These mysterious islands have not been seen for almost two hundred years and only appear on old maps or charts. Hippolyte starts his journey in a small sailboat. He has adventures that are unusual, to say the least.

When he returns home, his editor wants nothing to do with his tale, but Hippolyte buries her under old maps, sketches and specimens from his journey to try and convince her that it was all real.

The reader will be enchanted by the story, the illustrations and the incidentals that accompany the adventure. After the first fold out map, you will be lured into the enjoyment of a book of a very different stripe.
