This mysterious sea lies in the middle of the Atlantic. There are many exotic types of creatures that live there. There have been many tales of vanishing ships that were lost in the seaweed that blankets the surface of the sea. Ruth Heller is an accomplished artist who guides us through the eels and flying fish that live in the depths of these waters. She takes us through some very handsome artwork this world of mystery and celebrates the tales with poetry.

This is a delightful and good-looking children's picture book.
