Review of "Wallace and Gromit Audio Collection" by Peter Sallis

Fans will recognize Peter Sallis as the original voice from the animated series of Wallace & Gromit short films. Wallace is an inventor and Gromit is his dog. The first cassette in this delightful audio series tells about when Wallace has lost his new invention called "The Longlife Indoor Carpet Clog with Reinforced Everything". In order to find the slipper, Wallace invents a time machine to return to the last sighting of the shoe. Of course they take a wrong turn and wind up thousands of years from home during the building of Stonhenge and there is no cheese available.

Cassettes number two and three tell about their adventure with "Crackers In Space" and "Anoraknophobia" are both great fun to hear.

These audiobooks are cute, but it would be hard to compare it to the wonderful animated films. However true-blue fans and anyone with a sense of humor will enjoy hearing this adventure.
