Sara Foster believes in good food and good tastes, but she also brings us simple recipes that you can make in your own kitchen. There are 80 tasty-looking photographs that show you the way to present you best to your family and guests.

Sara used to work with Martha Stewart, and then she decided to move to Durham and Chapel Hill where she opened her own catering business. She opened Foster's, and put her own innovative cooking skills to work. Now her fame has begun to reach greater audiences.

The chapters cover the usual "Brunch and Dinner" recipes that sound and look spectacular. One of the best chapters features "Foster's Old Fashioned Favorites." It is here that you can find some of Foster's most delicious efforts. "Crispy Mashed Potato Cakes," "Baked Potato Casserole Toped with Crispy Onion Rings" and "Upscale Mac and Cheese." Nothing too fancy, and definitely not too difficult. This is a very usable cookbook.
