Volume II looks like an even larger phone directory, with its 30 some more pages and it's blue cover. Between them they contain 800+ pages of recipes that every cook will want to see. There are lots of tips and much advice you will find as your turn the pages. San Francisco is noted for it diversity of cultures and cuisine. We natives eat well here. This makes a good starter set for a new cook.

There are recipes for every meal, for every course and for every taste. As an example, there are recipes for Roasted Eggplant Bisque, Egyptian Chickpea and Orzo Soup, Lemon and Goat cheese salad with Lemon Vinaigrette Dressing. Move on to Sweet Potato Stew or wake up to Strawberry Soufflé Pancakes. It's a practical cookbook with something for everyone and every taste.
