Most of the time I have assumed that there were only about half-a-dozen different ways to make Potato Salad - mine, the local P.T.A.'s, picnic style, and restaurant types. Naturally, I preferred mine, but now we have this very attractive book to learn some new types of potato salad. In fact, there are fifty recipes and they all look good enough to eat and take on a picnic. The first one from this surprising cookbook I am going to try to make is called "Rosemary Orange Potato Salad."

The author teaches cooking classes and hosts cooking weekends at her home in New Hampshire. In this book, she has presented us with all kinds of ideas to try. None are too fancy and all look entirely possible for cooks of any skill. Southern, Grilled and Tailgate are only a few of the styles. The recipes move us upward to wonderful new tastes.
