Review of "Peter Pan (Special Edition)" by

Its one of the best of the classic Disney animated features and now in this special DVD you get a newly remastered video with a host of extras that should have been included with the first DVD release a few years ago. The new DVD transfer is exquisite and the soundtrack shows somebody down in Burbank was paying attention to the details. The bonuses on this DVD are a real treat for the animation fan. You get a short documentary "You Can Fly! - The Making of Peter Pan", a featurette "The Peter Pan Story" that tells how the history of Peter Pan, how Walt discovered it and developed it into a feature, and some of the production story, audio commentary by Roy Disney jr, and legendary Disney animators Frank Thomas, Ollie Johnston, and the late Marc Davis, a still frame gallery, a sing-along video, a DVD-ROM game, and more! And then on top of all that you have an excellent copy of this wonderful film.
