The author tells us that canned food is nearly always additive-free because of the heating process that sterilizes the food and the vacuum packing. Canned food does not loose its nutritional qualities like fresh food the author tells us. She also uses baby food cans for some of her dishes and that idea is amazingly tempting.

You can learn to make a "Beef Stroganoff Sauvignon" and you won't believe that you can make this excellent dish with canned ingredients. You can and frankly I found this a delightful new look at canned food which we almost all have on our shelves in case of an emergency. You will start using it in the different and great sounding recipes from this book I am going to begin with "Low-Sugar Apple Margaritas" and I might share. Then there are a lot of recipes that you will want to try. Me too!
