This is a wonderful children's story about a time that was long ago and across the oceans. This is a centuries old tale about a man named Ignacio and his extraordinary chair. As the times move forward, we follow the chair on its journey, and the ghost Ignacio stays with us. It's a tour of history that goes through five hundred years as we follow the chair. At the bottom of each of the pages is a timeline that keeps the reader up to date on each era of history and in the end, the chair turns up in our time.

The illustrations are a fine addition to the story, making a ghost and a historical chair very real. The chair is a beautiful piece of handiwork. Anyone would love to own this chair and get to entertain the ghost!
