Okay, I can't resist it any more than any other reviewer - this movie certainly does have its roots in Agatha Christie's "Ten Little Indians." This thriller tells the story of ten strangers who get trapped in a small motel in beautiful downtown Somewhere In The Middle of the Desert. One of the ten is a limo driver (John Cusack) for an aging movie star (Rebecca DeMornay). Another is a cop (Liotta) who's transporting a prisoner - a crazed killer. It is a very dark and stormy night, during which the Inn-mates start to die or disappear one-by-one.

You can't help but get sucked into this story. Its well-paced, with loads of chilling scenes as Cusack and Liotta attempt to discover who is the killer among them. It just can't be Liotta's prisoner. He's tied up in a little room by himself. So who is it?

"Identity" is not going to make the Oscars, but a lot of people are going to want this in their video library. Even if you remember whodunit, its filled with enough great scenes of total fright that you could watch it over and over again.
