Now that winter is arriving, this book is a treat for figure skating fans. This is an insider's view of international figure skating. Beautiful color photos fill the pages. There are biographies of the major stars and descriptions of the competitions. There is a selection of great moments from the Salt Lake City Olympics and the World Championships held in Washington DC. All this is enhanced with excellent photography.

All year, I've waited through baseball and football on TV, but now it's my turn to really enjoy a sport. This book is a good start for my winter of watching skating. I like the ice shows, but I love the competitions and this nicely-done book is the best way to get re-acquainted with my favorite Olympians.
