Sean's teacher has just been teaching his third grade class about John Hancock and his famous signature on The Declaration of Independence. The teacher says that when they have learned cursive writing well enough, they will be invited to join The John Hancock Club. Sean and his friends all work hard to learn to write longhand, as we used to call it. It's a fun story for children in the early grades who will recognize themselves in many ways.
