Lily Forrester is a District Attorney who believes in the system. However, she has a dark secret in her past that her ex-husband who needs her help threatens to reveal to the police. Lily and her daughter were both raped in a vicious attack. Lily found and shot the rapist only to discover that she killed the wrong man. Now she finds that another violent rapist that Lily convicted is back on the streets and looking for her. Rosenberg delivers an adventure that is filled with danger at every turn. The problem with this story is that the characters are not very believable - especially Lily's daughter who seems to on the edge of wimp-hood. The mother is somewhat illogical, too. After having killed the wrong man, Lily hardly seems real in her reactions to the dangers facing her. It's an interesting thriller that needed another couple of rewrites.
