Miss Bloom runs The Strawberry Inn, and she is famous for her strawberry cake. All day long, a steady stream of comical characters come to stay until she discovers that all of the rooms have been taken! It's a full house! But she gets them all bedded down at last and goes to bed herself, only to wake up in the middle of the night to discover that the guests are all eating her cake! How can she divide her cake among all of the guests? Miss Bloom does figure it out and alls well in the end of this amusing tale that gently introduces the concepts of fractions to children ages 9-12.
