Who can resist the lure of discovering the secrets of ancient Egypt? Laird Scranton shows us that there are parallels between the cosmology described in the legends and drawings of the West African Dogon tribe and that of modern science. That is to say, the very foundations of contemporary scientific thought were also known to the people of those ancient times. By taking the symbols found in the Dogon drawings and applying them to translating Egyptian hieroglyphs, Scranton found what he believes are descriptions of scientific principles as advanced as the composition of matter. Be as skeptical as you like, but you will certainly be challenged by this fascinating book.
