Review of "Special Topics in Calamity Physics" by Marisha Pessl
This homage to Nobokov's 'Lolita' leaves much to be desired. The continous stream of pop culture references and long droning passages make for a difficult story to follow in audio form. If the tale intrigues you, check out the hardcover version or wait for the paperback.
