This latest in the Doc Ford series finds our favorite marine biologist up against an old foe Lourdes, the pyromaniac. Ex-president Kal Wilson hires Ford to help him elude his Secret Service contingent long enough to track down his wife's killers. Suspend your disbelief long enough and you'll find yourself glued to the CD player as you follow Ford and Wilson's convoluted path through pyros and right-wing fanatics to find the answers before Wilson succumbs to his fatal illness.
