Review of "No! I Don't Want to Join a Book Club" by Virginia Ironside

On the verge of turning 60 years old, Marie starts to keep a diary to help her chart the rest of her life. Her daughter is about to present her with a grandchild. There's some smoldering embers surrounding a widower whom she had a crush on in high school. And her friend Penny is mulling over the prospect of having an affair with a man 30 years younger.

The British roots come through in the dry humor, and it just tickles the funny bone from start to finish. Lots of fun.
