Review of "A Winter of Wonders (Circle of Friends)" by Jennifer O'Neill

This second novel in the series by actress Jennifer O'Neill is an inspirational story of two sisters from the Circle of Friends, Lauren and Irene. Irene's teenage daughter is falling for a basketball player, Trace, whose mother is a widow. Lauren and Irene quarrel over how best to deal with the situation, and how they might help a member of Trace's mother's prayer group who has developed breast cancer. Its an emotionally engaging novel that centers its hope on a community of religious faith.
