Here's an 'Oh wow, Man!' book for my fellow Boomers. Its the history of pop music as told through the pictures on the walls of Manny's Music in New York City where all of the bands and all of the great stars of music came to find the instruments that they needed. I was a little too young for the British invasion to really be much more than fueling my desire to grow older, so the names Manny Goldrich and Manny's Music didn't ring a bell for me here. But all it takes is a quick skim to see that the stars of that era knew and loved Manny. The pages are filled with autographed photos from The Beatles, Herman's Hermits, Ella Fitzgerald, and so many others. The back story that accompanies each picture brings back the feel of the heyday of rock when music changed the world in so many ways.
