Its the story of a woman whose life hits bottom when as a single mother, she finds herself on the skids. As she says, she 'rescues herself' by taking control of her life and focusing on the most important things in her life - her children. Its easy to be cynical about these rags-to-riches tales, but you'll find that Cheryl Steinberg is very realistic in her storytelling.
