My teen years were filled with Asimov, Niven, and Heinlein, but I haven't read an anthology like this for over 20 years. It was a real treat. With tales filled with passion and relying on technology largely as a backdrop, there are stories of modern day people coping with life's cultural and philosophical dilemnas. Authors include Larry Niven and Brenda Cooper, Mike Resnick and Nancy Kress, Gene Wolfe, and Paul DiFiippo. If you've been away from sci-fi for a long time as I was, you'll enjoy this collection.
