This author got her experience when she was unexpectedly drafted to be the head chef of a spa café whose clientele included lots of movie stars. She had a problem that caused her some worry. She weighed in at 205 pounds. She loved food herself so she invented a cuisine that has earned her a lot of attention. She lost more than 75 pounds and created a show on network television. This is her method in book form for us all to indulge in good food. There are more than 200 recipes with complete instructions and a lot of information about how to prepare and how to stock your own kitchen. "ASIAN CHICKEN STIR-FRY" is one of my favorites in the book. It's easy to prepare and tasty as all get-out.

What a challenge for anyone who loves food, but wants to lose weight. This is a great cookbook for these weight-concious times.
