Here is a book that will be fun to read for both children and adults. The author, Bill Haduch, has presented us with a large amount of information that may not be vital, but surely is interesting. For example, just as I always knew the flavor of chocolate is the favorite of most folks. On the other hand, about 80% of the world's people eat insects. Yeech! Hand me some chocolate any day.

Lumped all together, we all spend about 15 days out of the year just eating, so it is time to wise up about some of our choices. Did you know that an ear of corn has about 800 kernels? The information in this book is presented with a sense of humor and cartoony pictures that match this fun way of learning.

There is much to learn about food and the people who eat it, need it and neglect to learn anything about it. At the end of this tour through your tummy and the puns that abound, there are some interesting snack recipes that you might enjoy.
