These two audiobooks are a great find. Elizabeth Peters has written many books - most recently is THE LORD OF SILENT, which will be a guaranteed hit. Many of her stories have been about Amelia Peabody and her family who are all Egyptologists. What we have here are two of her earlier books and they are both audio gems.

In "Devil-May-Care" we are introduced to Ellie and Henry who are young and in love. They are going to spend a couple of weeks sitting the house of a relative. House? Well it's really a mansion and while the story begins with delight it soon become dark as the young couple begin to discover long kept dark secrets about the town and the family.

The second audiobook, "Borrower of the Night," (ISBN# 0-7861-1916-0) begins with a treasure hunt in an old German castle. The prize is a very old carving made by an old German artist who excelled in Gothic design. Vicky Bliss is our major figure and soon we find out the she is in a deadly serious game that threatens her life.
