Bruce Hale has written and illustrated five children's books that tell about the adventures of a surfing gecko. Reader Jon Cryer has had many feature film credits, although he is best known from the movie "Pretty in Pink," co-starring Molly Ringwald. Together, Hale and Cryer present two adventures of the Gecko known as Chet.

The two titles are THE CHAMELEON WORE CHARTREUSE and THE MYSTERY OF MR. NICE. If there is a mystery to be solved you can count of this gecko to do it. He is the lizard from the fourth grade at Emerson Hickey Elementary and he will bring some hip tales for you to enjoy - kids and adults both.
