Martha Stewart seems to be everywhere, but the easiest way to enjoy Martha is to subscribe to her magazine, which I do. This is a collection of some of the best recipes that have appeared in the magazine. In fact, this book is a compendium of the best-of-the-best from the last decade of the publication. It is also the second collection in print, and you might want to buy both of them.

There are 1,200 recipes included and that makes for a monstrous collection of just about every thing you will want to try even if you have to spend the next ten years in your kitchen. Selections include information about the basics of cooking to the chapters on Salsas, Dips, Soups, Salads, Breads, Main Dishes, Breakfast goodies, and more.

New cooks and culinary experts alike would enjoy this collection.
