We all have busy lives these days, and while PDA's have
been getting smarter and cheaper, on my desk the traditional paper calendar still rules
the roost. Here we have our reviews of the best desktop calendars, appointment
and engagement books, mini-calendars, and datebooks for 2007.

Mustang Car-A-Day Calendar 2007 with toy I had a Mustang once many years ago. It was a gorgeous red and I loved it. Mustangs have changed a lot, but if you are a Mustang fancier, this is a desk calendar for you. Every day is a photograph of a classic car. I still love the old Mustang but the new one is not my idea of comfort. Still, you get a years' worth of these cars and as a plus there is a die-cast toy Mustang to play with. Who could turn that package down? No Mustang lover could. |

Corvette Car-A-Day Calendar 2007 with toy Every day will be another exciting Corvette day on your desk. Every page has a color photo or a B/W picture of one of these legendary sports cars. There is also a die-cast model car. It’s a vintage fastback Corvette and it is a perfect little addition to your desktop. |

John Deere Tractor-A-Day 2007 with toy If you are looking for a man-sized motor, this is a good looking year's full of John Deere tractors. There is also a die-cast model tractor to play with or just save in a collection. The picture each day includes images from the John Deere Archives. The whole thing is a treat for a tractor-lover! |

The New York Times Crossword Puzzles 2007 Calendar: Large Cube It’s a big box calendar, almost square 5” by about 9” and full of frustration. Don’t get me wrong. The folks who will love this desk calendar also love to do the puzzles in the N.Y. Times. Are they smarter than the average bear? But they are clever and know a lot of words that I don’t. They say practice will make you even better, so every day try one of these. |

Catcalendar 2007 Engagement Calendar Here we have a favorite with a devoted and large group of fans. Kliban’s cats are always stripped, never skinny and lazy. They can slouch around all year on your desk and you can keep on enjoying these most famous kitties while keeping track of your dates and meetings. |
|
Classic Cats 2007 Easel Desk Calendar This one is smaller than the wall calendar version, of course, but it is also filled with the black and white pictures of kitties that will keep you company all year long. They are smaller photographs, but every bit as adorable.

|
Journey to the Stars Mini Wall Calendar It’s small but educational and the fabulous color photos will keep your interest all year long. If you would enjoy a year of stars on your wall in a small space on your desk, you will enjoy this calendar. |

Diva Datebook 2007 This little one is too cute for words. I will try anyway. It looks like a little boo book. The size 5 inches by 6 inches with 6 four-color dividers with 2 month tabs. Very compact. Inside the months are divided by plastic tabs. Then there is a lot of room to write engagements and notes. Each tab has a cute picture of a Diva type. A handy elastic band holds the page you want to get back to. Really neat little purse book. |
|
Cat Naps, 2007 Engagement Calendar This one is just right for me. It’s another small cutie for the purse. This time there are kitties on the dividers and they are sleepy looking and very cute. Again, I'm a kitty fan here. |

Emily's Wanna Be Your Cat Journal I am addicted to this very odd child called Emily. So here is this small diary to keep my day to day notes. The size is seven inches tall and almost five inches wide. The size is just right for taking with you and then writing your life thoughts for posterity. The cover of this booklet is slick and shiny plastic with a picture of Emily and her cat on the front. |
