Bruce Mccall 2007 Calendar: Serious Nonsense This has to be one of my favorites for 2007. Artist Bruce McCall has contributed a years’ collection of his paintings. They feature an unfamiliar world in the 'City of the Future'. His Art Deco-style creations take us on a wacky trip through the year. The first month alone has a double-dose of humor. It’s a gorgeous skyscraper with airplanes buzzing around and a group of apes at the bottom at the bottom playing cards. Of course there is an ape on top, too. For a year of good clean fun, try this entertaining calendar. |

The Ecological 2007 Calendar: A New Way to Experience Time And now for something completely different. This is a brightly colored accordion fold out calendar with panels that are each 12 x 36 inches. The back of each panel is filled with notes explaining the natural history and astronomy of multicultural backgrounds. This is the 3rd edition of this clever calendar that comes with a nice set that closes and has all new art. There are special relationships to learn about between the Earth and the sea, the tides and moon phases, amongst a lot of interesting information about our world. It all makes a beautiful wall decoration. There is so much information and the calendar is so unique that it comes with a six-page booklet to let you know how best to enjoy this engaging calendar all year long. |

Edward Gorey Mystery 2007 Calendar Mine! Mine! Mine! Every year I enjoy a full year of anything from the devilishly delightful mind of Edward Gorey. His dark humor is among my favorite in any form – from calendars to the Addams Family comics from the old New Yorker magazine. I can never get enough of this creative genius' work, and this calendar is just another way to enjoy him over and over again. |

Angels Every Day 2007 Calendar Each month from this spectacular calendar contains a paper frame that surrounds an example of artist Karen Rossi's work. The theme is serendipity: When good things happen, the theory is 'maybe it’s the work of angels.' Her art is whimsical and brightly colored. It’s every day a new reminder that help comes often in mysterious ways! |

Classic Crumb 2007 Calendar Mr. Natural and the Crumb fans will love this one. His style was strictly underground in the beginning, but now he is a worthwhile collector’s item, and a whole new generation can enjoy the old pictures of “Zap” comic books and may other outlets. The artist is still collectible. I just purchased a deck of cards with his artwork on them depicting a circus theme. His artistry will last a long time. |

Mickey Mouse 2007 Wall Calendar For those who have always enjoyed Mickey and his friends this one is a gem to put up. “The Brave Little Tailor” and “Clock Cleaners” are just two of the great old cartoons that are pictured in this handsome calendar. They just don’t make cartoons like they used to, and this beauty is here to prove that point. |

Mary Engelbreit's Life is Just So Daily 2007 Wall Calendar Here is a full and useful calendar that is also filled with the art of Mary Engelbreit. Always a delightful artist this particular calendar opens up to a full month with plenty of room to keep track of dates and schedules. There are also included are inspirational quotes. Pretty hard to find a more useful calendar for the whole family. |
