A & M also publishes
this one. Its another very funny comment-a-day, the GEORGE CARLIN desk
calendar. The funny remarks are from the books called "Napalm and Silly
Putty" which was Carlin's recent best selling book. This one $10.99
(ISBN# 0-7407-1749-9). It's mostly about rage.
KITTENS is the title of an Engagement Calendar that is
published by Browntrout ($12.99 - ISBN# 0-7631-3717-7) Every week shows
a delightful kitty to enjoy while you keep track of dates all year.
Chronicle Books again publishes this handsome little
spiral bound book. It is very special and is called HECHO IN
MEXICO. There are many examples of Mexican design throughout the
book. Bright and colorful pages are for anyone to enjoy as they fill in
appointments for each day of the year. The price is $14.95 for the
journal (ISBN# 0-8118-3124-8).
The Syracuse Cultural Works have published a datebook that might
best fit your needs and is very handsome. It is called WOMEN
ARTISTS. The artwork is uniquely feminine and colorful. The cost is
$12.95 (ISBN# 0-935155-36-8). They also have a wall calendar of
the same title.
A.A. Milne and his WINNIE-THE-POOH can be your daily desk
calendar all year long. Just like the wall calendar mentioned above. This
one is from Dutton's Children's Books. The price is $11.99 (ISBN# 0-525-46680-0).
WINNIE-THE-POOH is also available from Frederic Warne in the
form of an engagement book that is filled with pooh-isms and pictures.
There is only one word for this Pooh product and that is "lovely!" the
price is $14.99 (ISBN# 0-525-46681-9).
Warne has also given us a PETER RABBIT CENTENIAL ENGAGEMENT DIARY
(ISBN# 0-7232-4747-1) with Peter romping through all of your
daily dates. The price is $11.99.
Don't miss the Frederic Warne engagement diary of the FLOWER
FAIRIES (ISBN# 0-7232-4704-8) Its the same price and the lovely
fairies can flit with you all year long.
FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT 2002 Engagement Calendar is a
spiral-bound notebook. Keep your dates and notes all year round along
with some of the most handsome photography from the many spaces that
recall the art of the late designer and architect. The publisher is
Pomegranate and the price is $14.95 (ISBN# 0-7649-1591-6).
Here is a collection of Day-by-Day desk calendars that are
published by Workman. It is hard to choose from the larger list of
titles but here are three of my choices. THE WHOLE INTERNET
(ISBN# 0-7611-2316-4) presents you with 365 online adventures for
the coming year. The artwork is from Ed Krols popular boo about the
Internet that is a user's guide & catalog. The price is $10.95.
VIDEOHOUND'S MOVIE GUIDE for $10.95 (ISBN# 0-7600-2438-1)
gives you a whole year of every day reviews of movies. The irreverent
reviews are presented along with movie lists and gossip.
ANTIQUES ROADSHOW (ISBN# 0-7611-2407-1) This one costs #11.95
and is filled with pictures of the item you may have seen on this
television show. Anyone who is a devoted collector and treasure hunter
will love this calendar. The program is one of the highest rated shows
on PBS and no wonder. It also comes in a wall size for the
same price (ISBN# 0-7611-2365-2). The wall size has even more
information for every month.
